=Penang= Dcova @ Logan Heritage for Pasta Al Nero di Seppia

Have you ever eaten black pasta or black rice? These are not made from charcoal but the delicious ink from the squid.

In Penang, there are many restaurants offering squid ink pasta in their menu, but they actually serving black noodles instead of cooking pasta with squid ink, hence losing the taste of natural saltiness and flavor from the seafood.

Pasta Al Nero di Seppia RM 25.90
Beside the main ingredients which are squid and squid ink, Dcova added Ebiko to enhance the flavor and also the texture. But somehow with the generous portion of olive oil, you have to be careful when mixing the dish before eating, but if you enjoy the benefit of extra virgin olive oil, then have fun.

Riz Noir RM 28.90

Although it is also cooked with squid ink, but this Black rice smells of prawn instead of squid, which you get the best from both and this is no easy task, as one has to be very patient in cooking this dish for about half an hour.

Teriyaki Chicken Salad RM 18.90

I really like the salad here, the sweet teriyaki chicken was surprisingly a match together with the vegetables, especially with the salad rocket. Every bite is a bitter sweet.

Spicy seafood aglio-olio RM21.90

The aglio-olio pasta here is deliberately spicy; so much so the main seafood is like a dressing. No strong garlic smell, it tastes like a plate of spicy seafood. My favorite.

Carbonara Dcova RM18.90

Dcova emphasizes the traditional preparation. Egg, Cheese and bacon with a touch of black pepper, and yet the dish is perfectly moist.

Pasta Ebiko RM21.90

I personally think that this is a combination of Carbonara and aglio-olio, as you will get the best of both dishes. The ebiko is a bonus.

Cheesy Baked Rice Tuna RM20.90 sausage RM18.90 prawn RM20.90

Not into pasta? No problem. They offer cheesy baked rice with the selection of tuna, sausage or prawns. Generously sprinkled with mozzarella and cheddar cheese and then baked until golden. The best version of cheesy rice in town.
