Zen Xin Vegetarian that located at Nagore road is a restaurant that offers affordable vegetarian banquet dishes, which provides a variety of dishes that are similar to non-vegetarian and Cantonese dishes. Gibson was here for his friend's birthday dinner and we had ordered 10 dishes, for which we were quite impressed with the presentation and the taste, especially some of the Nyonya dishes that tasted almost like non-vegetarian dishes.
Jade Spinach Tofu RM11
Another best dish to try is this special Tofu with fermented black bean toppings and the special sauce that is made of spinach. Greens with great taste.
Baked Nyonya Oats Fish RM20
We all agreed that this dish is the most recommended dish, which has the best taste and texture for the night. You get to taste the spices without being overwhelmingly spicy.
Taiwan Style Monkey Head Mushrooms RM20
If you are familiar with Taiwan 3-Cup Chicken, this dish has the almost exact taste.
Beijing Roaster Duck RM20
We find this dish is very presentable, although its taste is quite average. It is a vegetarian replicate of the famous Beijing Duck, where the eating technic is also being replicated.
