Facebook’s Queen Maggie Fong treated me to a meal at 43 café, 43 is also happen to be a house number. They have been doing business since 3 years ago, from making homemade burger they have ventured out to making their own ice cream. The owner’s emphasis on taste ensures a pleasant surprise on the menu.
However, beware that the food you actually eat might not be the food you think you eat, a piece of pork can taste like a beef steak, sometime taste like Tuna too, and when you take a bite of a chicken breast, you thought you are eating chicken drumstick.
The 2 brothers have converted their father’s no.43 terrace house into a home cook restaurant, customers are forewarned that they might have to wait from half hour to 1 hour, as the cook attends to only one dish at a time.
The Ice Cream offered here supersedes the main course of the menu. Only 4 basic ingredients are used in the making and it takes at least 8 hours to make, the range of flavors are varied and creative, from Guiness Stout with chocolate to Himalaya salt with red sugar, will completely transform your perception of ice cream.
