Divana Virtue Spa is housed in a century-old building with its own private garden, which used to be the residence of the governor more than 100 years ago. When you enter into this classic colonial house, one will be treated like a royalty somewhat like “Cinderella turned princess”.
Divana Virtue Spa has received many awards and featured by many international media. The CNNgo has listed it as one of the best Thai massages in Bangkok. Don’t be surprises that you see a lot of Hongkie and Taiwanese here; Divana is a hit among these 2 communities too.
Thanks to Ms. Pearl, the Director of Divana for hosting us and letting us experience the world class spa that Divana has to offer. She told Gibson that Divana is derived from the Indian word which means "Passion for Love". There are about 30 types of spa packages that cost from 1150 Baht to 11500 Bath, but Gibson was arranged to experience their signature Nurture Spa Essence, which is a 130 minutes body scrub and massages session that costs 2850 Baht.
Before starting to enjoy the spa, you need to decide on what Scrubs and Essential Oils you prefer, there are 4 choices for both, which are Rose, Olive, Green Tea and Sesame for the scrub that infused together with honey. While for Essential Oils, there are Lavender, Olive, Grape Fruit and Eucalyptus. You need to decide on how strong would your massage be, Gibson requested for normal which was nice and relax.
The room is furnished with all the facilities that you would need, and you will be given a bathrobe and a new underwear to change.
The spa started with Japanese foot spa that can keep your body warm especially during the body scrubs session, and Gibson chose sesame scrubs for sensitive skin, after the scrubbing, he felt like being marinated and ready for the grill. LOL
After “marinated” for a while, you will be led to the bathroom for shower. Then the session continues with the massage session starting from the feet and eventually the whole body.
