This spicy looking Char Kway Teow that costs RM6.80 is one of the popular dishes at Sakurajima Japanese & Chinese Restaurant. Yes, it is available in a Japanese restaurant and it is pork free.
When Gibson’s friend recommended Char Kway Teow in this Japanese restaurant, he thought his friend was just kidding, but then when he had his first bite, it was love at first bite and we ended up having 5 plates besides the main set of Japanese dishes for each of us.

The set comes with Tempura, Kobachi, Chawan Mushi & Dessert.

The set comes with Cold Mini Soba, Nigirizushi, Crispy Fried Spicy Bean Curd, Deep Fried Boneless Chicken, Miso Soup, Dessert.
Matsu Bento RM50
The set comes with Grilled Items, 3 Kinds of Raw Fish, Chicken Teriyaki, Tempura, Steamed Egg, Rice, Pickles, Miso Soup, Dessert.
Menu 12 Cod Fish Teriyaki Set RM50
The set comes with Kobachi, Sashimi, Salad, Chawan Mushi, Rice, Miso Soup, Pickles & Dessert.
Menu 11 Salmon Teriyaki Set RM38
The set comes with Kobachi, Sashimi, Chawan Mushi, Rice, Miso Soup, Pickles & Dessert.

The flower tea contains Jasmine, Pot Marigold, Globe Amaranth and White tea.
Although Sakurajima restaurant may sound and look like Japanese, but they do serve many Chinese and Local dishes at a reasonable price range. As for the Japanese cuisine, many choices are available, but the food is the usual standard. We like the private dining room, but it closes a bit too early.
