=Travel= Penang - Cathay Pacific and Dragonair First and Business Class Lounge @ Penang International Airport

Having a bowl of freshly cooked Prawn noodles before departure at Penang international airport as good as the one at Penang Street, is only served at the Cathay Pacific and Dragonair First and Business Class Lounge.

You may think that not everyone can afford the First or Business Class to gain access to the lounge, but then you can always trade in your airline miles to at least have a try once. However, Silver and above Marco Polo Club members, and Sapphire and above one world members departing from Penang, can also gain entry into the lounge.

Now, the question is whether the lounge is worth trading in our hard earned points. No doubt the answer is Yes. Besides having a wide spread of food, you have a choice to order 3 freshly cook menus.

We tried the Penang Hokkien Mee, which turned out not bad.

Then we also ordered the half boiled egg with kaya toast.

Now we are taking a tour to see what they have to offer at the lounge. We started from the chilled salad, fruits and yogurts.

Local food such as Char Koay Teow, stir-fried vegetable and even the famous Sambal shrimp.

A bowl of nice porridge can be self-prepared by mix and match.

Some Asian “Tapas”.

You can even find some dim sums here.

The selection of tea and coffee are sufficient to suit everyone's needs.

If you looking for healthy breakfast, they have some choices of grains and cornflakes.

Mineral water and Sandwiches for the go.

All sort of drinks.

A bit too early for alcohol but the Hot Cup is so tempting.

Croissant and cream puff.

There are a variety of jams and butter for the toast.

The lounge is well furnished to the comfort of their guests ensuring a restful and relaxing time before departure.
