=Penang= Kopi Hutan @ Penang Hill

Have you ever thought of having a forest in your cup? Gibson means literary a tree in your cup. Now you can have a cup of forest’s shadow in the lovely afternoon at Kopi Hutan, Penang Hill without any extra charge, yet you get to enjoy the nice breeze from the nature, and a great relaxing experience outdoors in the green world.

Kopi Hutan is located in the century-old tropical greeneries of Penang Hill, where the entrance to Monkeycup Sanctuary is also located. So you have the option of enjoying a cuppa before or after touring the Monkeycup Sanctuary, the one and only such sanctuary in Malaysia. Besides that, you can even just come here for some quiet time in the afternoon, where they serve good coffee, tea and cakes too.

Most of the tables in Kopi Hutan are made of glass and concrete, so that the owner can be creative in growing some green tiny plants under the glass.

In Kopi Hutan, greenery is everywhere.

No modern furniture, only rock lookalike table and chair to keep the sense of nature.

Here is part of the Menu, where you can share a pot of brewed coffee with friends.

The coffee is black and clear; like a mirror that reflects the surroundings.

The owner found this coffee pot in Thailand, something nostalgic.

A cup of tea for those who are not into coffee.

Chocolate Mousse cake RM12
Homemade chocolate cake, simple but full of flavour.

Let’s take a look of the Monkeycup sanctuary, though not huge in size but they do pride themselves of having more than 100 species of monkeycup besides having other exotic plants.
