If you ask Gibson where to find the best Ikan Cencaru Sumbat Sambal (Hard-tail Mackerel Stuffed with Sambal) in Penang, He would definitely recommends this orange food truck by the roadside of Jalan Tanjung Tokong-- The D'tomato street Malay rice stall.

There are many version of Ikan Cencaru Sumbat Sambal in town, but they are either over fried the fish or the Sambal just doesn't taste right, because Gibson prefer the one with the hint of sweetness, not just sole spicy. So D'tomato street just fit right in for the taste requirement, especially when you pair the fish with their signature tomatoes rice, it's haven!

However, there is a catch, they only sell Ikan Cencaru Sumbat Sambal from Monday to Thursday, and everyday may have a different version of the cooking method, namely the dry or the wet. Gibson prefers the wet style, more juicy and flavourful.
